...although the urge at this point is to rush, rush, rush, to get it all done, experience tells me to work with urgency but be methodical. I call it the Zen approach to event planning. Understanding that every component has a special importance and function is the key, as is realizing that all these components are for a common goal, thus there is a relationship between elements that shouldn't be ignored.

Expo - Behind the Scenes 3 - Whoop Ass when you need it! ---Meanwhile, back at the ranch, we, and by we I mean GLAM team member Jessica Brown, are working out additional details like port-a-potties, bike parking, yes there will be bike parking so peddle in if you can, and the numerous and multiple bureaucratic requirements that go with an event like this.

The Expo Symposium for Independent Arts will create a special space for artists to engage in this larger conversation through panel discussions, network opportunities, coaching and of course DIY workshops.
