Does it seem like Indy Arts is ALL EXPO ALL THE TIME these days? Well guess what? It kind of is!
We’ve made some major strides in the last two weeks for the Tenth Annual Expo for Independent Arts. We have settled on a new logo for our outreach campaign, updated the Eventbrite registration page for Exhibiting Arts Organizations and started our Sponsorship Program. We’ve also put up a Volunteer Opportunities page! (hint, hint)
Volunteers really are the key to the success of the Expo past and present! Volunteers help us take care of the little things that easily fall through the cracks without that extra support. We were quite bummed this week when Cassandra our summer intern announced this would be her last week.
Cassandra came to us through The Volunteer Center website. She’s a native San Franciscan and a rising sophomore at Cornell University. During her time with us, Cassandra was everything an intern should be: very bright, motivated, energetic, and extraordinarily efficient. She helped us build the foundation for this year’s Expo, and although her time with us was brief we are so happy to have had her help! Good luck Cassandra! We hope to see you again next summer!
So, we have a void to fill on our Expo team. If you or someone you know is interested in working with our GLAM (Golden Lasso Art Mavens) Expo team contact us!
