Durga Media is a multimedia production company dedicated to creating compelling works that amplify and celebrate minority voices.
Durga Media is a QTBIPOC owned and operated arts production studio that supports minority-centered projects across multiple mediums including music, film, and literature (books/ plays/ screenplays). We take on projects at various stages from conception/ development, to funding, production, to eventual marketing, distribution and/ or performance.
We have over 20 years of experience across music and film industries and have independently funded, produced and released 15 full length music albums, five music videos, one musical short film or long-form narrative music video, and two feature-length screenplays which are currently in development for film production.
Now headquartered in the East Bay Area, Durga Media endeavors to continue strengthening communities through art by telling stories of and by the disenfranchised. Durga Media does not profit from the projects we produce with our artists. Our financial objective is to simply raise the funds to cover their production process, which we oversee and facilitate.
