E14 Gallery showcases emerging and master visual artists with deep ties to and strong love for Oakland. We honor Oakland as an incubator of revolutionary consciousness and the artists featured capture the spirit of uprising, self-determination, and cultural rebellion in their work. E14 Gallery showcases local artists, provides community resources, prioritizes work that honors historical struggle, and celebrates the rich and varied voices of Oakland residents too often underrepresented in traditional gallery settings.E14 Gallery is also a participant in the Mandela Public Art Park, a public art collaboration between E14 Gallery, Civic Design Studio, Emory Douglas, and The Crucible to design, prototype, and install rotating installations in free, public spaces that acknowledge cultural narratives at-risk of historic erasure.
