WATT (Working Arts & Technology Training)

The Working Arts & Technology Training (WATT) program is intended for youth attending San Francisco Christian Center and residents of San Francisco.  The program is designed to educate minority youth about opportunities in the creative fields of graphic design, video production, photography, copywriting, and editing.  Our mission is to foster future careers in creative tech fields through education and hands-on training for minority youth.

Graphic design is a field that is the backbone of the marketing industry.  While marketing and sales are business units that have high visibility, graphic design is the division within marketing that dictates so many different things about businesses.  It is the way that formal communication is delivered at every touchpoint.

The minority youth of San Francisco Christian Center and the San Francisco community can expect to learn about creative opportunities, learn applications, produce real-world projects, and create portfolios.
